Blog Plan

The photo of people in circle around a flame, taken by Mary Fran, is a visual of Martin Buber’s I-Thou philosophy, which has influenced this blog.

Objective

Overall objective: spiritual deepening, following the Christ through writing and sharing the blog in a way that fosters I-You existence among readers, writer and God.

Toolkit

While informed by the best of biblical disciplines and pastoral care and counseling, I’ll mostly be writing, not from an academic viewpoint, but from standing before the Countenance (Jeremiah 23), from the heart and spirit about making it alive through this soul-killing world.

Who I’m writing for

Although I have a vocation of ministry to followers of Jesus, my heart won’t stray far from those whom God loves that I haven’t met and loved sufficiently yet.
