Interpretation of scripture, the responsibility of each member, is done in community; the place where the Spirit works and informs interpretation. I agree that we find Ultimate Love in that place between people; sort of a Robinson, Honest To God, interpretation. Yet when I also find the incarnate Jesus, 'he' has a very human face.
